Recently Instagram released Instagram Shopping in Sweden.
As involved in E-commerce business I had to give it a try so I opened Instagram and went into settings and since it is a business account I found Shopping. Went into shopping and did activate it and got the product feed from the facebook-accounts store as source.
Immediately did a (valid) test-post which technically works fine – people who click end up at the products page at my website. Smooooth as the commercial say 🙂
Some things to consider to make this work this smoothly:
- you have a website with a page for every product
- you have a Facebook-page (as a business)
- you have products in your Facebook-store
- you have a business-account on Instagram
- you enable the feature.
Once this is done you do have one more channel to sell things thru.
Now you should develop a plan for how to do it.
